2024 Vienna United Nations Music & Peace Cultural Tour Summer Music Trip

The 2024 Music Trip to the Vienna, Austria, is organized by Global Musicians and Artists Association (GMA) and Pioneer Arts and Humanities Association (PAAHA). The exciting 7-day- 6 nights Music Journey will start with performance in the United Nations Concert for Peace held in the headquarter of the United Nations Austria. Students also will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the visual, historical, and social beauty of Austria and adjacent nations, starting with the capital of music, Vienna, passing by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthplace, Salzburg, relaxing in the beautiful lake town, Hallstatt, and finally visiting the Czech Republic including historical Český Krumlov & Prague. All participating students will receive customized certificates from Both GMAA and United Nations.
As one of our exclusive programs, we are honored to presents the United Nations concert for peace as part of Annual GMAA Music Trip to Vienna. All participating young musicians will have the opportunity to perform in the headquarter of the United Nations in Vienna, Austria and receive customized certificates from United Nations. Many Local musicians and UN officials will be present to watch the concert. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all students, not only to showcase their talents and performance skills on an international platform, but also to promote the music and culture exchanges between the US and Austria.
United Nations Concert for Peace is organized by:
· Global Musicians and Artists Association (GMA), an US based association specializing in international competitions and music programs.
· Pioneer Arts and Humanities Association (PAAHA), an US based Non-profit organization aiming to provide international arts/humanities events and activities.
· United Nations Women's Guild Vienna (UNWG) - Joining Hands to Help Children, an Austria based charity organization whose purpose is to assist children in need and/or mother childcare programs throughout the world.
What can you gain from this trip?
· Perform in the United Nations and receive certificates from UNWG.

· Volunteering and leadership opportunities including local community services, event organization and teaching assistance.
· Enrich your resume for college application with important performance and internship experiences in the United Nations.
· Five days of extensive guided sightseeing tour throughout Austria and Czech including Vienna, Salzburg, Hallstatt, Kumlov and Prague.
Itinerary and Schedule (August 19th- August 25th, 2024)

Arrive at Vienna. Group introduction meeting in the hotel.

Packages
Performance and Travel Package
The packaged cost includes the following items:
· 6 nights of 4-star Hotel rooms: standard room with double capacity (two students or student/parent share one room)
· Continental Breakfast for one student included during hotel stay
· United Nations Recital Hall cost for UN peace concert
· 9 meals (5 Chinese & 4 Western) included during day 2 - 6 for one student
· All transportation cost during day 2 - 6 for one student
· Tour guide fee
The following are excluded from the packaged cost and shall be paid separately by each family:
· Air fare
· Hotel accommodation and airport transportation if the student decides to arrive earlier than day 1.
· Meals and transportation during day 1 and day 7.
· Tickets to attractions
*We strongly recommend that at least one parent or a legal guardian shall accompany the student. Single student without parents must be 12 years older and shall send an email request to globalmusicians8@gmail.com for approval.
Application and Eligibility
2024 master class trip is open to all instrumentalist, vocalists and dancers that are between 9-25 years old. Participating student must have minimum 3 years of practice. Applicant shall submit a YouTube video of the most recent performance to GMAA along with the application.
We recommend at least one parent or guardian shall accompany the applicant to Vienna.
1st payment of $1,000 is due when the online application is approved. The balance of the payment shall be submitted no later than 04/30/2024. The 1st payment must be received to secure your spot in the trip.
